Internal insulation
One of the best arguments in favor of internal insulation is the new pura, a mineral insulation board with a whole host of structural,
technical and economic benefits. As an effective alternative it is ideal for many building rehabilitation projects where external
insulation is not possible:
- On account of monument preservation regulations (which prevent any change to the façade in the form of external insulation)
- On account of difficult space situations, e.g. basements underneath buildings, site boundaries or confined inner city locations.
In addition, only internal insulation makes it possible to insulate apartments and rooms individually, e.g. in multiple dwellings.
The insulation figures are impressive: up to 85% of heat losses, in relation to the insulated wall area, can be avoided with pura internal insulation.
And hence not only financial burdens but also ecological ones.
